Since making the leap from a totally decentralized AMM to a more institutional market making system (and completely overhauling the UI/UX to accommodate more advanced features), there was still a sense on the Lyra team that the V2 rebrand was incomplete, specifically that the product had outgrown its name.

The VP of Product honed in on the design in the red box. He liked the resemblance to a knight, which several team members were advocating for early on. He liked the way it paired with the GT Standard typeface and he liked that the body of the horse was a shape from the Lyra logo, a subtle nod to the past.
